Price Alerts Are Live: Turn a Chart Level Into a Timely Notification

The most useful chart is not always the one you watch continuously. It is the one that helps you notice when a level that matters is actually reached. Trading Market Grid now adds price alerts directly to every supported chart.

From passive monitoring to a clear action

A multi-chart dashboard makes comparison faster, but watching several assets still creates a practical problem: attention is limited. A price may approach support, resistance, a breakout level, or a personal review point while you are focused on another chart.

The new alert workflow turns that level into a simple instruction for the dashboard. Move over a chart, select the alert control on its right edge, confirm or edit the target price, and save it. When the live quote reaches the target, Trading Market Grid plays a short ding and shows an in-page notification. If browser notifications are allowed, it can also display a native browser notification.

Why this is a breakthrough workflow for the grid

The feature closes the gap between observing many markets and reacting to one specific market level. Instead of repeatedly scanning every panel, a user can define the condition that deserves renewed attention.

A practical chart-reading example

Suppose BTC is trading below a resistance level you have already marked. You do not need to predict a breakout or keep staring at the chart. Set an alert at the level, continue comparing the 30-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, and daily structures, and review BTC again if the notification fires.

The alert is only the prompt. Confirmation still comes from the chart: the close relative to the level, volume, EMA 12/21 structure, nearby support or resistance, and what happens on the following candles.

What users should know

Price alerts are currently stored on the device where they are created. The Trading Market Grid dashboard must remain open, and the relevant chart must be visible, for the live browser session to evaluate the target. Browser notifications also require the user to grant notification permission. Closing the dashboard stops active monitoring until it is opened again.

This first version is intentionally simple and transparent. It does not place trades, recommend positions, or promise that a crossed level will hold. It tells you that a condition you chose has occurred so you can return to the evidence.

Try the alert workflow

  1. Open Trading Market Grid.
  2. Move the pointer over the chart you want to monitor.
  3. Select the alert control on the right side.
  4. Keep the current quote or enter your own target.
  5. Save the alert and allow browser notifications if you want native prompts.

The grid will continue doing what it does best—keeping multiple markets visible—while the new price alerts help your attention arrive at the right chart at the right moment.
